Directors Note: As a Theatre Artist, it is my opinion that art should always be in conversation with its' audience. When the opportunity to do this play presented itself, I felt we should. The inequality and injustice the character’s face due to their society and the roles placed upon them are the same we face. Our world is not so different from the one presented in this play. And it is because of that truth that is can be hard to wake up each day, fight, and converse about change with the hope that things are going to get better. How can one person change everything? In short, we can’t, we must work it out together. The Company of this Production has come together to start this conversation with you, and so I ask this question. What are we going to do?
